The much-anticipated royal wedding of the century fuck yeah OMG is over. There is nothing left but the memories. And the seemingly bottomless pit of potential exploitable amusement that is The Awesome Cracktastic Hat Princess Beatrice Wore Holy Shit.
Many people noted a distinct Cinderella’s Stepsisters vibe from these two, like, those outfits HAD to have been a deliberate attention ploy right? A calculated attempt to upstage the bride via terrifically unflattering dresses and I DON’T KNOW, A HAT THAT LOOKS LIKE AN OPEN TOILET SEAT FESTOONED WITH RIBBON?
Needless to say, the Internet pounced, and a meme was born. There’s a whole tumblr devoted to the hat itself…and Princess Beatrice’s past headwear transgressions, like this one:
